Our Story
From a Fremont home daycare to
a Modesto preschool community.
This is our why.
For Rezy Ghosh, early childhood education has always been more than a profession—it has been a calling. With over 14 years of experience, she founded Bright Star Home Daycare in Fremont, creating a nurturing environment where every child is known, valued, and encouraged to grow with confidence.
Basu Ghosh built a successful career as a technology executive, serving for more than a decade as a Senior Director at Visa Inc., where he led global innovation initiatives and was awarded six patents. Along the way, he also founded RGB Global, driven by a passion for creating solutions that make a meaningful difference. Together, we share a simple belief: every child deserves a safe, joyful, and inspiring place to learn.
That belief led us to Modesto and to Bright & Rooted Preschool & Childcare. Today, we’re honored to continue serving children and families at 3600 Sisk Rd., Suite 3A, building on the strong foundation already established while bringing our own vision of warmth, curiosity, and excellence in early childhood education. Our commitment is simple: to partner with families, support exceptional teachers, and help every child grow with confidence, kindness, and a lifelong love of learning.

Autumn Roberts
Child Care Center Director
Autumn Roberts serves as the on-site Child Care Center Director at Bright & Rooted, bringing hands-on experience leading licensed childcare programs in California. She holds the qualifications required by California Title 22 to direct a dual-component center serving both infants and preschool-age children.
Day-to-day, Autumn leads curriculum implementation, staff coordination, parent communication, and regulatory compliance — ensuring that the standards Basu and Rezy have set are upheld in every classroom, every day. She is the link between our ownership team’s vision and the lived experience of every child and family in the building.
